She is panting and its not hot in the house. We noticed it earlier but thought she was hot then. She has been on Cipro 1000mg 3x a day for a week now for her ear.* She is not drooling not pacing, but does look uncomfortable.* HAs anyone had a similat experience with Cipro. I think her tummy may hurt.
UPDATE I called her vet, he said I could give her some Pepto. She seemed better after that. Her stools were loose this AM. I will keep an eye on her and see. I think we should cut the antibiotic dose down she has been on it three times a day for 8 days most human Doc's treat that long.
Is there an emergency vet you can call?
Did she eat and then had extensiive exercise?

No emergency vet close. No it does not seem like bloat. She has been in the house all day. no swimming because of the ear. A tree fell next to the fence so it is open enough for her to get out on a busy road. She palyed on her leash but nothing extensive.
If you think her stomach is upset maybe a tums or some maalox to help the tummy...I'm no sure about doses for dogs on Cipro but a 1000 mg three times a day seems like alot to me...with humans it's usually 250 or 500 mg twice a day...so she may very well be having an upset stomach
How is she this AM? Any better?
How is she feeling this morning?
