    DefaultThe Mother Lode of Kongs

I've added kong stuffing to my list of weekly chores. I make sure we are always prepared! Believe it or not there's a few kongs missing.....I have no idea where they could be and the dogs aren't talking!

LOL... I only have four kongs... and since Ender gets two per day... that's a twice weekly chore! ;D

    Holy-moly!

Somehow we've managed with only one, we give her a fresh one every day, but we don't freeze it. Maybe we'll get a second one this weekend so we can do the freezer thing.

Mind you, we actually do have 2... the first was the puppy kong (the blue swirly one) and she started chewing the ends of it by 3 months!

I can't let Molly & Abby see this thread. That is a nice idea.

We just have two one regular red one and one octogon red one. I normally just give it to her unfrozen though unless I think ahead and put yogurt in it then I freeze it.

These kongs look a bit diff then the kong by KONG that I bought. Just wondering if they are any stronger. Poor Kimba cannot have kongs, as a baby he ate the red one and at 10 months destroyed a chunk out of the black one... : (
Does anyone else's lab eat the kongs?

Toby wants to know whether he can come visit your house.

Guess we'll have to get the boy some more (we have 2).

There is one kong that is even tougher than the black one and that's the blue one used by police trained dogs and such. I thought maybe THAT one could withstand the awesome jaws of Apollo, my mom's lab, but sad to say... it too bit the dust within a few days.

I call them all "kongs" although the ones that look like a fire hydrant are by Sargent's and can be found at WalMart for only $4.97. The ones that are "dimpled" are from the Rino company. A bit more expensive.

I swear by the Sargent's kongs and my two labs are pretty much power chewers. They've held up great so far. (knocks on wood)
