This baby couldn't fly yet, so he was just running around the yard.* Tucker pranced behind him, and I was afraid his paw might swipe him.* The baby ended up hiding in tall daylillies, and Tucker laid down behind him, watching him.* I moved the robin to another area of the garden, and he slipped between slats in the fence and left.*
Aaakkkk......it's the abominable!
Watch it buddy...yer gettin' a little too close
Do you by chance have a worm?
Great pictures!! I can't believe the bird let him get that close!!
I can't believe he didn't "play" with the bird..... most dogs are a little rough though .
great shots!! I'm surprised Tucker didnt' want to squeek the bird like a toy. Cali would have probably tried to pick it up.
Oh my goodness! Those are just too precious! Awww... touch my heart.
Seamus and Flynn

Wonderful pictures! Dixie also had an encounter with a baby brown thrasher a couple of days ago. Poor little bird almost had a heart attack. Dixie just walked up and gave him a 'niff. He was like LOL
Good boy, Tucker!!! ;D
I'm quite sure Henery would have tried to "squeak" the bird!!!!
You should get that last one framed. Those are great.
The last photo is amazing!! Good doggie, courageous birdie!!
