DefaultTemporary relocation to the Bark Park

The park area we use for our summer Saturdays' LabFests (2-3 PM) was cross-occupied by a disk golf (frisbee)* tournament.

In years past, this has sometimes caused problems -- e.g, Labs running after and retieving* Frisbees

So we moved our venue -- for today -- to our Topeka "Bark Park"

Our local "Bark Park" (that's its OFFICIAL name) uses a former softball field* with the fencing still in use.*

    Hill's Science Diet
-- a local Topeka company -- has provided much of the cost of transformation.*

At the Bark Park, one has a choice of which 2 areas to enter - either one for BIG dogs OR another for SMALL dois-.

I've previously* taken Puff to our Bark Park at least 7X and she's never played-- just wandered around stoned.

Today, we had about 7-9 habitual attenders of our LabFests that came.* For awhile* it was an ALL Lab outing.

FINALLY,* Puff responded and began playing (running -- "Catch me if you can")

I shouldn't laugh, but I would have paid good money to get that on video!!! What a hoot!

Yes, that could make a great scene in a "Caddyshack" (or a "Marley & Me") type movie, wouldn't i?!?

    I've come to respect Puff's opinions . . .
she always seems to have good reasons for the things she does.

I'm glad she decided to play with her playmates!
