DefaultWorried my pup is too small

    Hello,

We adopted a lab, Thor, when he was five months old. He just turned one last week, yet is still smaller than we were anticipating. We were told he would more than likely be a bigger lab, yet it does not seem like he has grown as much as we expected. He has grown and we will see what his vet says December 3, but he was last weighed at 55-60 lbs. We are fine with him being small, but we are just curious to know if he is smaller than he should be. What do you guys think?

    is he healthy and happy?
does he eat all he wants?

The white could be a mismark, or it could be an indicator that the dog is not purebred (unless you have AKC papers to prove parentage). Otherwise, don't overthink it and just enjoy your dog.

I agree with Yellowbelly and Jertom. I think you shouldn't worry yourself too much if he is healthy but again keep observing him and also try find out if he is really a pure breed.
