New to this forum and new to labs. We have a 5 month old yellow lab who is just the best We are just about to rescue a black lab and the dog pound are still awaiting her paperwork, but are saying she is about 2 years old. She has some whitening on her muzzle. What do you all think ?
she's cute. you'll have your hands full with a puppy and a second new dg!
Congratulations on your new dog! She looks adorable!
It could mean an underactive thyroid problem or maybe she had heartworm in the past? Or it could mean nothing. What did your Vet say? Gray does not just mean old age, it could be just one of those things and she's healthy as a horse and young.
Thank you for adopting her and giving her a good home
many thanks for replies, although I am starting to panic now from some of you - I'm sure it won't be too hectic ...... Enjoyable !!!! ..........
We don't pick her up until Friday, however, her books have now been received by the dog pound. She is actually a Lab x, which surprised me as she looks pretty labby ! also, it makes more sense re whitening as she is nearly 4 and I know black labs can easily start whitening by then.
