Every morning Bauer and I drive into town to walk. Time permitting we play a little fetch with a tennis ball at the baseball field firsts, and then set off. 9 times out of 10, he keeps the tennis ball in his mouth and takes it on the walk with us. Yesterday morning he dropped the ball at some point, and I didn't notice until we got back to the car. This morning we didn't have enough time to play fetch. About 1.5 miles or so into the walk, he started trying to pull me off the sidewalk and into the street (where we had walked yesterday). We got to the street, he stuck his nose under some leaves, and came back with his tennis ball . . . as if he remembered right where he left it yesterday. He happily carried it the rest of the way. I am still surprised he remembered exactly where it was.

Some people are like slinkies. Not really good for much, but bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs.

HAHAH. What a goof. He just didn't want anyone else to find his tennis ball!!!
That's really cool, you've got a very bright boy.
Amazing how they remember things like where they left a ball, but "forget" stuff like don't-eat-the-house.
