Sabbath is now 14 months old and still growing. He is now 28" at the withers and he weighs in at 101.2 as of yesterday. Sabbath is very healthy and full of energy.
Here are a few pix of him and of the leash and collar I made for him about a week ago.
Oh and here are 2 videos we did the other day in the rain. Yeah weather does not stop us from going out. You can watch them in 1080p HD if you like.
Love the homemade collar and leash!
The leash took me about 10 hours and the collar 2 for the first one. The first Martingale collar I made it just a bit to big. So I made a second one that only took me an hour. All the hardware, Martingale chain (on collar), D-ring (for dog tags) and the snap clip (on leash) are all solid brass. I used 550 paracord, 228 feet for the leash and 38 feet for the collar to make it with the King Cobra stitch.
I'm going to be making another leash and Martingale collar for my wife to use. She wants it purple and back, purple is her favorite color. It's going to have all solid brass hardware as well. I know that I cut my time in half redoing the collar, It would be nice if I could do the same with the leash. But I'm thinking probably more like 2 hours or so but we will see.
Not a big purple fan, but purple and black will really look nice. Hope you post pics of your finished project for your wife.
What a beauty! Nice job on the collar and leash.
Here is a pic I took today of Sabbath so you can get a better look at him. I will post back when I make the purple and black leash and collar for my wife.
Beautiful dog and beautiful bling (collar and leash)
Sabbath came to me from San German, Puerto Rico. He was put on a plane 2 days after I started the process of getting him. He was flown to Boston Massachusetts when he was about 4 months old (at that time I was being told he was 3 months old). Then he had a car ride to New Hampshire where he is now a big part of our family. You can see Sabbaths Facebook page, he is a dog with a blog. Sabbath aka DAWG I just started it a few days ago so its not up to date yet. Start reading from his born date, it's written from a dog's perspective, Sabbaths as he has seen his life.
You can see more recent on My Facebook for now until I get Sabbaths current.
