Poor girl is only allowed on half the yard during the day now while we are at work because of all the ripe fruit and vegetables!!! she keeps eating all of our ripe tomatoes and the green gage plums that fall off the tree. This gives her diarrhea and horrible gas. I feel so bad doing this.
To err is human, to forgive, canine.

I'd suggest 1) kenneling her while you are at work (for her safety all around) or 2) fencing off your garden and picking the fruit before it drops if you don't want her eating it.
8 labs here and I'm and Ag/Horticultural consultant. I am positive I have far more fruit (and veggies) on my property than you do but my garden and fruit dump area is secure.
