Okay I am too embarassed to ask my vet... and I am very parinoid lately with Copper... He had a Mast Cell Tumor in his hind leg last month, they removed it... Grade II... got everything... was very scary. We are checking him for lumps once a week... because as they say they can return. So doing our weekly check this morning all over him. They say to watch the groin and anus area as well... so i was checking and felt two hard lumps by the groin (which felt like testicles) Copper was neutered at six months... they are not always there... but felt them a few times... Does anyone know what that is? I mean if they were removed? maybe this is a stupid question... but I was scared maybe it was an MCT... but they are both the same size.... as soon as he stood up I couldn't feel them anymore... I know this is silly but I am curious..... :
Were they on either side of his peepee? After our Yorkie got fixed he had some trouble with his incision site so I was watching it pretty close. Once when I picked him up I noticed to bumps one on either side of the shaft but later that morning when I went to show my bf they were not there. He called the vet anyway and they said that happens to all male dogs when they get excited but go back down when not excieted so we normally don't notice it and there was nothing to worry about. I'm not sure it's the same thing but though I'd share.
Hopefully it's nothing.
you're not the first to wonder
