    DefaultBosters then emergency vet...

Well Molly got her bosters today then suddenly her face swelled up! So I called my vet & woke his wife, she said to call, then go to emergency clinic. So off we went, 11 pm into the worst part of town. They gave her a Bynadryl shot & cortisone & some of the swelling went down in 15 min or so, but the bad eye is still pretty swollen. They were nice & since we had been to the vet today, they waived the "emergency" fee. That Molly, there could be one piece of glass in the grand canyon & she would be the one to get cut on it! : So now, she has to have "anti allergens" prior to her shots as a prevention. At least she is doing better!! :-\

That's very scary. I would have freaked! I'm glad to hear that she's doing better. I guess this is a somewhat frequent event with dogs (???). Take care of your little girl.

Thats a very scary thing..I always worry aboiut that everytime we get a vaccination. Glad she's OK and you were there to notice the problem and get her treated. Just out of curiosity was Lepto part of the shot?
