I am always posting about the different bones we find in the woods...
today Lucy and I found the bones and skull of a moose...they were scattered a bit..but the skull was really interesting..the lower jaw had come loose..teeth intact...
Lucy took home a souvenir..the bottom half of the lower jaw....she was so proud...tail high strutting home with this giant jawbone...what a nut...
lol always have to laugh at how proud labs are with their treasures

I can just picture her strutting.
What's crazy is that my husband would do the same thing!
So what plans does Lucy have for her jawbone?
The bone will sit on the porch for a while..Lucy of course wants to bring it in the house but that isn't an option...
she has a collection going...
Wow! That is a pretty freaky find! Wonder what happened?
I'll bet she was proud of that!
Connie and "The Boys":

Simon, d.b.a. Flat Coated Retriever, CGC, RE, CD
Gone ahead, but forever in my heart:
Crash, Pit Bull x Rottweiler x Golden Retriever
I wonder too, Connie..we found the remains on a ridgeline in the woods..I had a feeling these past few weeks that there was a pile of remains somewhere to be found on this logging road because lately Lucy had been going up that ridgeline and bringing back smaller bones...like parts of a spinal column.
We decided to go up the ridge to see what we could see from up there..that is when we discovered the skull and the bones..it must have been a big one..the skull is very large.
Sounds like a real adventure!!
