So when Reece arrived I had hoped my youngest bengal would have a new playmate. Unfortunately, Reece didn't have enough self control and miss crocodile teeth with her big labby feet drove away any attempts by the cat to play. Eventually Mia started to just tell Reece to back off and stopped trying to play chase or hide & seek with the 'nutty' puppy.
Over the last week though they have been working on some play terms. Reece still lacks self control with her paws (she slammed Mia into the wall last week when she was hiding behind the curtain during a chase game the other day....oops). BUT, they seem to be coming to some balance. Reece is trying REALLY hard, the other day she was crawling on her belly across the floor to try and give kisses to Mia (although cats don't overly appreciate puppy kisses either).
Reece just has to learn 'squish the kitty' isn't part of the games they get to play :P
Some vid of a few moments from yesterday.

Sometimes the hardest part isn't letting go - but learning to start over.
That was great. Your house must be very lively most of the time!
Boy, she is getting bigger. Looks like her and kitty are having some fun.

Thanks for sharing, enjoyed! Bengal cats are really beautiful.
Isn't it great to have a sister
Great video! Reece is beautiful.
She is getting so big! Does she have a wavy patch of fur near her rump? Ivy has that and I love it! lol
We have the same exact type of play matches in our house but it's Ivy and my 9 year old.
Love it. Dogs and cats can be such good friends and playmates. We've had some wonderful interspecies friendships here too.
