    DefaultThe Happy Dance :)

Every Lab I have ever had does/did wonderful happy dances. Something I have noticed about Maxx is he has several distinctive happy dances. His "food dance" is the most exuberant and he does it until you hit the area he must sit to be released for feeding. His "training class dance" is different from the "feeding dance", "go for a walk dance", "go in the car dance", "go out to play dance" and his "play with the kids dance". Do your dogs do this and do you notice a difference in their wiggles?

For some reason they go nuts when we put any kind of hat on. Or, if we put a different collar or a bandana on one of them.... They go nuts. Our little girl did this really cute dance with her toy yesterday. She dropped it on the floor and kind of danced around it. That was so cute. I would pay money to see that again.

I love the dance whenever I come in the house after not seeing her all day (or even for a few hours). We call it her wiggles. It's the best!

I call Misha my "wormy" girl because she´s always wiggling (all her body, not just the tail like a normal dog)

LOL! That sounds great, I would have loved to have seen her dance. Maxx rarely barks but hats make him crazy as well! Silly dogs.

Jack has a "wanna go get it?" dance. I had a video of it on my face book for a while. Too cute.

How could I have forgotten the "you are back" dance?! Definitely one of my favorites.

Buddy has two dances, time to eat and 'you're home!' The 'time to eat' dance is what I call his Labby bounce, where he goes up and down, sometimes just his front feet but sometimes all four feet. The 'you're home' dance is a half-bounce, half-butt-tuck, because he wants out and he wants to eat and he doesn't know which one he wants most (this is done when I get home from work).

Champ just wiggles, not matter what the reason!

Yes the "I WANT to go for a walk" dance and the "YOU'RE home dance" plus a few jumps added in.

Yes, their "we're going to the lake swimming" dance is most intense.
