Some of you may recall my post a few weeks ago about how excited I was to have finally found a breeder that I like and trust. I just found out that the breeding didn't take - so no puppies. I don't know when or if she is going to try again with that particular female, so it's back to the drawing board for me.
(Please don't make this a rescue vs puppy debate. I am a huge proponent of rescuing, but I'm looking for a show prospect)
We don't do much of that kind of bashing here. Now, buy a puppy at a BYB and that's a different story!
I think rescue and reputable breeding are not mutually exclusive.
Sharon, Blaise and Diesel.
Aww, that sucks, I'm sorry. The puppy you are meant to have will come in due time!
Sorry! The right one WILL come along before you know it! I'm all for rescue as well as most of my pup family has been rescues but in the case with Karma, he is going to be my service partner so I wanted to make sure where he was coming from. I found an excellent breeder in my area and not only did I get a fantastic pup, but made great friends with the breeder! There is plenty of room for rescues and reputable breeders.
So sorry, your pup will find you before long.
