Can someone of you suggest me a brush? I have seen the furminator, but I don't think that is a brush alternative.

We use the zoom groom on Kai all the time and love it! We also have a furminator that definitely works with getting all the excess fur off, but I have heard that it does damage the coat. We use it very gently and infrequently.

We use a Zoom Groom too. They are inexpensive, and don't look like they would work, but they work really well.

Zoom Groom here, too. I usually follow it up with a metal comb like this Chris Christensen Buttercombs - Cherrybrook and I alway end a grooming session with a good going over with a horse brush like this Decker Work Horse Rice Root GRIP-FIT Grooming Brush #35 - Scruggsfarm.com.

I use a zoom groom. What that misses, my vacuum picks up off the floor.

I use a zoom groom and a rake, similar to this one:
    Google
“If I know every single phone call you’ve made, I’m able to determine every single person you’ve talked to; I can get a pattern about your life that is very, very intrusive. And the real question here, is what do they do with this information that they collect – that does not have anything to do with al-Qaeda? And we’re gonna trust the president and the vice president that they’re doing the right thing? Don’t count me in on that.”

Yes that is the one. I have found that the zoom groom gets off the loose top coat, but the rake gets the loose undercoat. I have a furminator, but only use it about 2x a year. The rest of the time I brush two handed--one had has the zoom groom and the other has the rake. I use a hand over hand motion--one stroke of the zoom groom, one stroke of the rake. It usually looks like it snowed in my yard when I'm done.

I picked up a Zoom Groom from Petco today. This thing works great and I will be recommending it to friends and family. I may even buy a few for them.
