Today was basically one more day in the long run to the finish line. HK was great. PT and our walks went well.
We did decide to go out and see our kids and grandkids at the lake home that one of them has. HK loves it there, but she would not get freedom to run outside, and there would be no swimming to retrieve tennis balls. I had a lot of apprehension, but decided that I could control it.
As we pulled into the driveway, I immediately had second thoughts. The whines of excitement! The squeals I never heard come out of her before. Uh! Oh! Maybe this was a bad idea. DW sat in her seat until I got HK leashed up and lifted down out of the car. She was still excited, but she wasn't pulling or jumping. Maybe this will be okay.
It was. She was fine and we went into the cabin, and after the meet and great period was over, she settled down and found a place to lay down out of the way.
It got to be time to feed her, and I went out to the car to get her food. As I walked back to the cabin, what I saw staring at me was captured in the pic below. Eight eyes all focused on me.
Hershey Kisses, In charge of getting Ed out to the dog park so that he gets some exercise.
Glad to hear she is doing so well! Cute pic
More great news! Well done, HK. Good girl!
