So on our potty break this morning Hershey was a really good dog. We walk maybe a total of 1/4 mile round trip, using all four legs the whole way. When we were in the local park, we made lots of stops for her to trim the long grasses, her primary veggie source!
However, as we turned the corner back on to our street, she froze. Ears alert, head high. When I looked in the direction her nose was pointed, in the middle of our driveway was a fox, staring right back at us. He sauntered off in the opposite direction, checking back behind him frequently to make sure we weren't moving toward him. that's when HK growled and let out her barks. Mr. Fox then placed some more urgency into his exit from the neighborhood. And that was the excitement for this morning,
HK is coming back. I am really happy to see that happening. Only 11 more weeks before I can let her go and chase that fox into the next county.

It's a good thing HK didn't forget herself and try to run after it.
I'm so glad she's doing well.
She's such a good girl!! Just wait Mr. Fox...HK will tell you who's area this is
I wonder who was the more stunned - Brer Fox or Miss HK?
Jackie, Champ, and Buddy
That fox must have known that HK was not able to chase him! What a good girl for not even trying!
