When you get him home and spend time with him his personality will begin to show. From that you can get an inspiration. I joked with my trainer yesterday and said I should have named Mardi "Imp" for impetuous (marked by impulsive vehemence or passion). She continues to bounce from one thing to the next, non-stop. I chose the name Mardi Gras for her because she arrived from the rescue transport with Mardi Gras beads in her paper work. I believe names just happen if you wait for serendipity.
Agreed. I like to get more options though just in case my names dont fit!
When we brought Jack home, we had a list of (I think) 10 names....but he was just a Jack
How bout Allan...or Poe! Heh heh. You could call him Al.

Sometimes the hardest part isn't letting go - but learning to start over.
Let the dog's personality dictate his name.
