    Default1 DOWN, 83 TO GO

    1 day down.

Pain meds appear to be working
She finally pooped after 48 hours of nothing coming out.
The leg still hasn't touched the ground. Bandage comes off Friday afternoon, maybe she will toe touch once she can bend it and I start the range of motion exercises.

83 days to go before she is allowed off lead. She is not happen. Saw a rabbit this morning and she didn't like that I grabbed her around the belly and wouldn't let her go. But I regard that as a positive that her head hasn't been affected.

One day at a time, Ed, one day at a time. I know, try telling that to a Lab!

I'll be sorry to see her hot pink stocking go. Such a beautiful, long leg. She could be a can-can dancer at the Moulin Rouge!

I tried hypnosis this afternoon. It didn't work.

So far the hardest part is knowing she is uncomfortable and can't do what she wants to do. The therapy part will not be a problem for me to get into the discipline. I am not looking forward to when she thinks she is all better and I still have to restrain her activity. IT will be a battle of my heart (let her) and brain (You can't let her), and against her heart (I love to chase the squirrels) and desire (at least let me try Dad! I'm fine. Really!).
