    DefaultNo Hooligan for us.

Heard from the rescue tonight. Apparently Dozer's "mouthiness" turned into an aggressive bite this weekend. He's being further evaluated by their trainer and will likely go to a sanctuary they've worked with in the past, but he's not adoptable. We are approved though and they have a lot of labs upcoming, so we'll see what happens. Thanks to those who gave advice!

I am sorry but at least you found out before you actually brought him home. I am sure the right lab will be lucky to find you.

This! Thank goodness you found out before rather than later. It's also good to hear they have a sanctuary for him.

I applaud your rescue group for being on top of the situation. Your lab friend is out there!

There are a few contenders at this point, but nothing solid. There IS a 9 month chocolate who is recovering from being SHOT that I've expressed interest in. We'll see!

Keep us posted about your Lab search. Your Lab is out there; just a matter of time before you find each other.
