Defaultupgraded to a king size bed to accommodate the dog!

We needed to replace our queen size mattress so Memorial Day seemed like a good time as all the stores were having sales. Then my husband says, "since Hamilton sleeps with us, maybe we should buy a king size mattress since he takes up so much room in the bed." So to make a long story short, today we bought a king size mattress and box spring so the dog will be comfortable in the bed with us!
Hamilton, Rescued October 4, 2011 at the age of four, background unknown. Hamilton is extremely lovable!!!!

Hamilton will take up as much space as there is! Maybe for the first night or two, you will feel triumphant, then, you will notice .... you are once again hanging over the edge! Just sayin'... LOL

Yep! We have king size...Jack takes more room then hubby & I together. I usually get 4-6 " at the edge. If I toss or turn, I'll be on the floor.

You could buy a bed as big as a house and the dog would still have you balanced on the edge of the mattress.

We ended up having to go king sized once we became a two dog bedroom...and if they can't touch you, they're not close enough! It does help but they do push you out out out!

We went to a king size when we needed a new one. There was just not enough room in the bed for 5. Laci does go to her kennel during the night so she is not there the whole time.
