with great enthusiasm, but not much skill. I went in with him and held up the back end and tried to get him to kick back legs , but he was overexcited, and as long as Mom's holding him up, why try. He had such a good time, I'm sure that in time he will get the hang of it.
Awwww! At least you were prepared to swim this time. It still makes me smile when I think about your last adventure with Tony!

Some dogs just are not good swimmers. As long as he has fun, that's all that matters.
Maybe if he goes out after something he really wants, like a toy or Frisbee, the excitement of getting to it might make him swim more naturally.
