It's been 4 months since we said goodbye to my Sweet Gin and I miss her everyday. I've been thinking of how to memorialize her -- I have her ashes which will go into a new rose garden that we're working on right now, but I wanted something in the house as well.
So, I had this done -- it's a 16" x 20" print on canvas. It's my favourite picture of her and it turned out so well. It almost looks like an oil painting when you're up close to it. You can even see the snow flakes on her whiskers. I couldn't make up my mind on whether it should be in colour or black and white -- I'm thinking I should have gone black and white, but other than that I'm very pleased with it - it hangs on a brick wall that is at the end of our entrance-way.
Very nice tribute.
That's a beautiful picture of her!

Wow that's beautiful. It looks like a photo.
Just beautiful! I like the color... it's very soft. Lovely!

I like it in color too. It helps you feel she's right there with you always.
Beautiful picture of a beautiful and well loved girl.
