Diesel does really well on Acana, but it is expensive. Just curious for some comparables. What do you feed and how much is a 30lb bag? TIA
I feed Pinnacle and pay somewhere around $65 a bag. They do give a free bag after you buy 10. I am in CA though and stuff costs a lot out here :P.
Deep Run Traveling "Takoda" (12/05/12)
Deep Run Easygoing Ezekial "Zeke" (04/13/17)
I feed Orijen, which is from the same maker as Acana. Acana is their less expensive line, so you'll not likely want to go with Orijen.
Canadian Naturals at $65 for a 30lb bag, but it always has a 5$, so $60. Acana is the same price.

Puff eats Kirkland Signature, available only at Costco (membership warehouse clubs). I think it's about $28 (+ state & local tax) for 40 lbs. in Kansas (USA); its grain free and very good quality. Don't know what its price would be in Canada.

Puff [YF, AKC field line (from competing HT/FT breeder) 62 lbs, dob: 8-'01]
Bess [BF, AKC bench line (from competing show breeder) 55 lbs., 1967-1981] "Poor Bess, the Wonder Dog":
Ernie is on Royal Canin prescription and costs $189 30lb bag.
Tess was on Eukanuba fish and potato and that is $165.00 30lb bag. We are going to trial her on Hill HD at $175.00 a bag.
I pay about $37 for a 40 pound bag of diamond natural ( i asked about the recall before i started buying it and was assured the recall was not on the natural kind)
4Health Salmon and Potato from Tractor supply, ~$36 for 35 pounds. The other versions (not fish) are cheaper. They are all grain-free.
Jackie, Champ, and Buddy
All your food is so cheap. Admittedly I have 2 special needs dogs so at the top end of price for their food, but even the cheaper decent stuff here is around $100.00.
Supermarket food is around $45 for a 30lb bag.
