    DefaultTony's first "swim"

He's such a chicken; I thought if he saw Bruno go in and have fun, he would too. The first thing they did on the way to the lake was get into some animal remains. He got some bones that he wouldn't give up. I chased him all over to finally take it away. Then back to the lake. Bruno showed him how to run in and have fun. Mr cautious went on the dock instead. I think that he thought he could walk on water because he just stepped off, went right under and came up doing the desperate dog paddle back to shore. He seemed to be proud of himself when he came out, but that was enough for a first try.

He's too cute I thought Jack would never swim, now that he's started, it's all I can do to keep him out of the pond (which is in the yard) when I want him to warm up, dry up, rest up....whatever.

Hahaha! Sounds like Hunters first swim recently I took him down to the ocean and it's where the ocean meets the bay and he darted right out into the ocean and there must've been a drop off because he went right under! I almost had a heart attack but his head came right up and he started paddling back to shore. Thank GOD! I was so nervous b/c there is a big sign right there that signs no swimming very dangerous rip currents, I was hoping I didn't have to go in after him! So after that he wouldn't go near the ocean!

He's so funny. He keeps me in stitches with his antics.

It would have been great to have a video of that! Baxters first swim occurred on the evening we brought him home. We were taking a walk along the edge of our pond dam and I was pointing something out in
the pond. He followed my finger and tumbled head over heels into the deep water. I was getting ready to jump in after him when he came sputtering up and managed to climb out on his own- he's been swimming ever since.
