DefaultPlease help me identify breed mix

I just adopted a lab/lab mix? from my local shelter . He definitely has the lab character like retrieving etc and also no mismarks in coat(white patches) but he have a narrow head ... I am just wondering what else he is mixed with. I would like to know just so I can do a little research on his breeds. He has a natural otter tail . Right now he weighs about 55 lbs. Please predict wheather it is a lab or mix.

    congrats on the new addition.

impossible to make an accurate guess based on that photo.

if you want to read more/learn more, i recommend reading on dogs in general rather than on breeds. with a mix you likely will never know (beyond just guesses) what the mix is anyway, and dogs ar dogs first. Plus, not all dogs within a breed would fit the "mold" of the breed even if you read up on the breed you think the dog may be. So knowing more about dogs in general, the way they "think" and react to better understand them would be much more worhtwhile.

Do you know what stacking is? Can you get a photo at your dog's eye level of him standing sideways to you and looking straight ahead? You know, like you've seen show dogs do?

He looks mostly Lab to me - narrow heads are common among pet bred Labs and those who are neutered before maturity. Like Tanya said - reading about dogs and dog behavior in general is more worthwhile than doing research in to what breeds might be in your pet. Thanks for rescuing!

Could be a lab, but we really need a better pic than that to even try to play the guessing game.

He´s a mix. You can say its a German Shepard Lab. (the muzzle looks like a GSD).

I agree it is really hard to tell by the photo you posted.
