    DefaultMy itchy puppy!

So Hunter is almost 6 months old and has always been itching. He scratches a lot but never got to the point where he would lose fur or break skin. I had mentioned it at a vet visit before and they said it may be weather related because it was such a cold dry winter here and we'd revisit it if he was still itching as it got warmer.
Well it's warmed up and he is still itching. He's now gnawing at his front legs and back legs and slowly losing small patches of hair on just his front legs and bag legs as of right now.
I switched his food since breeder had him on pro plan puppy, i kept him on that but thought maybe it was the food so I switched him to buffalo blue puppy since no corn in it and thought that'd help, he's been on that about 2 weeks and that is actually when I noticed the hair loss is after I switched the food.
He is up to date with his frontline
There is no raw looking, or red spots just the small patches of hair loss.
I am bringing him into the vet tomorrow morning to get it checked out, which is a pain b/c he is completely CRAZY at the vet he loves people way too much! so hopefully they can even get a good look at it!

Please let me know what the vet says! We have had a similar problem with Tilly. She has only lost fur on one spot but she has been itching forever. We have tried everything! I am still convinced its beach fleas but the Advantix should take care of that. Hope your vet has some suggestions!

So I took Hunter in today, they scraped 2 of the spots with the hair loss to test for mites. They did not see any but she did say that the scabies mite is a lot harder to see so she wanted to treat him for that. I have 2 doses of revolution to give him today I did one and then in 2 weeks another dose. She said if he's still having a problem they'd have to do a deeper scrape so they asked if I would be getting him neutered they would do it then, so I'm hoping the revolution works b/c I wasn't going to get him neutered til he was at least a year old!
