Hi, It has been a while. I just found out today that my Gracie who is 4 yrs old has mass cell tumor, grade 2. I am sick with worry. Please any advice from those who have been there is much appreciated. I am talking with my vet about what to do next...
No experience here, but I will be praying for you and Gracie. Let us know what the vet says. Did they take a needle sample of the tumor? Maybe a second sample to confirm that diagnosis is in order.
I am so very sorry. No experience with this but sending prayers for Gracie and you.

Some people are like slinkies. Not really good for much, but bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs.
Sending good thoughts & prayers for Gracie. My friend's lab just had a mast cell tumor removed a few months ago. She is doing well.
oh no so sorry to hear this news... not been through this at all but wishing you much strength.
The voices in my head may not be real, but they have some good ideas!
Nellie is 5 year survivor. She had pretty radical surgery to save her leg and then 5 weeks of radiation. Prayers to you that all goes well.

Shanny was diagnosed at 5 or 6. She just turned 14.

May I ask where her tumor was. Gracie's was on her inner flank. They said they did not get all of it. I need to talk with the vet tomorrow..I was just a mess today when they told me..I absorbed nothing. I am exploring all our options now...we have a dog at the shelter that has mast cell stage 2..he is being treated with Loumostine and prednisone..he is doing very well..thanks for your words of encouragement.
