We are in the middle of remodeling our house, and things have been crazy around here. So today the new back French door is open, and Sophie was outside playing. She came in with the big knot end of a rawhide that looked like it had been buried in our yard since the dinosaurs were here. A few mintues later, she comes in, no rawhide in her mouth, and grabs my furry bathrobe that is laying on the couch. She was dragging it through the house, so we followed her. She took it outside, down the steps and laid in in a pile. She then went and picked up her rawhide knot and laid down on my bathrobe and proceeded to gnaw away! I couldn't believe she did that! My husband said he almost didn't have the heart to take it away from her. I said, "Well you wouldn't, it's not your robe!" I wish I could have taken a picture, but my camera is packed away with most everything else in this mess of construction.

Silly Sophie, she just loves mama and wanted to be comfy! I have missed a good Sophie story.

Sometimes the hardest part isn't letting go - but learning to start over.
This made me laugh. I just love your Sophie, too cute!
A dog has to be comfy while eating a chewy. Funny girl.
Bringing all the things that give her comfort together while in the midst of the confusion! (Sorry about the robe!)
She just wanted a nice soft place to chew her rawhide. Mine too always go to a soft throw rug or dog bed whenever they are given a special chew.
Aren't our pups just adorable. Sophie loves you and wanted you near as she drools all over your robe )
The voices in my head may not be real, but they have some good ideas!
