    DefaultMoving advice thank you

    Hello,

About a month ago I posted for advice regarding moving to Dallas and into an apartment. I just wanted to let you know that I have made the move and wanted to thank you for all of the good ideas everyone gave me.

I wound up taking a duplex with a small fenced backyard, this will allow them to be outside without being on a leash all the time. Granted it may only be twenty minutes at a time but at least they can move around when they want to. It will also allow me to just let them out in the middle of the night for a potty break without getting dressed. I did look at apartments and found many nice ones, even ones with dog parks. However I think that I made a better choice and the price difference is only about $100.00 per month.

Now that I have a place to live next step is finding a job...

Great decision! I think you will find it well worth $100 a month not to have to get dressed and leash up every time they want to go outside. Money very well spent!

Great find, the little yard will be a real blessing, especially in the winter! Good luck finding a job, the market is tough all over.

Sounds great - I am jealous. We are in an apartment with no yard to run around in. Good luck finding a job!

Great news, and best of luck with the job search. Let me suggest going with a temp agency that places people long-term; you work for the agency for 90 days, then can behired on by the company if you have done a good job in that time.

Thanks for the well wishes, I am going to sign up with a few agencies next week and hope that they find something good for me, I'm an accountant so it's not really a specialized field.
