Shhhhhhh...I don't want to jinx it. He's been good over night for the past few months with full run of the house. So last week (after being home with the flu for one week and then time off around Thanksgiving) I, unbeknownst to hubby, left Remy out when I went to work last Monday. He and Brooklyn are gated in the kitchen and I cleared everything off the counters. I got nervous when I got home at lunch and didn't see him in the window...
But that was because he was sleeping on the couch! He and Brooklyn are taking up either end of the couch we have in the mudroom and apparently snoozing the day away. I haven't found a hair out of place! I'm putting him in his crate for the afternoon shift til I get home (I'm not going to press my luck!) but so far so good!
I can't believe the dog was certain was going to be in his crate for his entire life is now only crated about 4 hours a day!!! I'm so proud of him!
