    DefaultBlood Blister

My almost 1-year old yellow has 2 little, what look to be, blood blisters below his lower lip. They are hard to the touch, almost looked like ticks when I first saw them, but they are not. About the size of a pea and jet out from the skin. They are not bothering him at all but are of course worrisome to me. Any thoughts? I'll try to post a pic.

They could be viral papillomas. It's best to have your vet check them. Please let us know how your pup is.

A lot of dogs get puppy acne.. sometimes it goes away on it's own, other times antibiotics are required.

Does he eat from a plastic dish? Gabe got a couple of something similar and when we switched to a metal dish they went away.

No he eats out of a metal bowl. Took him to the vet yesterday and he thinks they are warts - probably got them from another dog at the dog park which we go to almost daily. They are so gross - he keeps rubbing them and popping them and blood goes everywhere! Vet says they will go away on their own though. Keep them clean, etc.
