The last few days, Cammy has been stiff. She's almost 8 and has h.d. What kind of aspirin and how much can I give her? She's about 67 pounds.
Shameless bump :-)
Here - I just googled this. I used to give Paddy one regular aspirin on occasion for his arthritis. No damage if giving occasionally. For more regular use I highly recommend Deramaxx. Get from your vet.
"The currently recommended dosage of aspirin varies a little from publication to publication but it is between 5 and 15mg/lb every 12 hours. Since there is a range I usually pick the middle of it and go for about 10mg/lb every 12 hours. This works well and seems to be pretty safe. "

You can give one regular aspirin. But you can also get aspirin for dogs at Petsmart and Petco. It's buffered so better for their stomachs, and flavored like a treat.
I usually use one buffered aspirin.
I also use Rimadyl or Deramax when my dogs need it (from the vet).
Thank you so much!! I'll get her started on it tonight!
