DefaultI think I might have solved the "collar dilema"...

For awhile now, I've wanted this collar for Caleb. Obviously the price has stopped me ($44 for one Caleb's size). The other day I found a site that sells handmade collars and harnesses, as well as the supplies to do it yourself. So I ordered the chain part, as well as two differnt metal slides like what's on the nylon collars with the quick releases (the slides are for possible future use). Five chains, a pack of 10 wide mouth slides and a pack of 20 triglide slides came to $26 and change. Looks like Caleb might be in store for not one, but 5 new collars!

I have a rolled leather collar for Libby and I love it. I didn't pay that much for it though. I forget now, it's been a while.

Oh, I have a rolled leather buckle collar for Caleb. I want a martingale one, tho. In fact, if I didn't cut too much off the end, I'm going to use that one to make the martingale.

Oh, okay I gotcha now. I know all this time reading this forum I should know what a Martingale does, but what exactly is the purpose, to stop pulling?
