Around oh dark thirty this morning I heard Buddy surfing in the dining room. Caught him up on the table when I turned on the light. In the time it took me to turn the light on and move towards his crate, he was already waiting for me to open the crate door. This morning he he went into the crate by himself without being asked to, refused to come out so Wife could add a cushion- she had to drag him out. When I got home, he was vocalizing the moment the key went into the lock and did not stop until I opened the crate. He zoomed out of the crate, opened the front door by himself and ran full speed around to the back yard where he does his business. Did not stop to socialize with the dogs next door until after he was done. Two runs of the fence and I heard what sounded like a small pony galloping for the front door before I saw him. He ran up the steps and into the house before he stopped. Sort of looked like a carrier landing.
Lol, they are so funny and scary smart!

Sometimes the hardest part isn't letting go - but learning to start over.
