This is my new guy. He's great but on the lead I've never had anything like it, he constantly wants to go between my legs. We're working with him but has anyone else ever had something like this? It's just kinda strange. Great boy otherwise just hinky with the lead at this point!
He is gorgeous. The leg thing, LOL I think it's a lab thing. My Nellie is a lunatic going in and out between my legs to have her butt scratched. LOL

Yeah he's about 10 months old, I think it probably is a security thing, but he's a lot of fun. Just trying not to trip
He's a cutie. Our Moses also likes to go between legs. As Danie said, it's a lab thing.
He is a cutie! No advice on the lead thing -- mine doesn't go between the legs, she's a puller to the point where she chokes herself!
Yup, 2 outta my 3 like the "in between the legs" for butt scratching....the only problem is Kodi is so tall, I'm practically riding him, LOL.
Mom to Indy 6/12/98 to 11/16/11 (always in my heart), and Jobe 8-14-2000 to 6/24/2013 (Working TDI) English Labs, and Annie our Golden Retriever (TDI), and Kodiak (who will one day hopefully be a TDI dog if he doesn't kill me first).
We all thought Erns was unusual going between my legs for a butt scratch.
Gorgeous wee guy. Hope you can cure the walking between your legs before you trip over him.
Its a labby thing. Sophie was such a pain in the butt on a lead. She would choke herself out! The vet said that isn't good and can cause damage to the throat. We bought this no pull harness for Sophie, and it is wonderful! It is so easy to get on and off! It is on in a matter of seconds. And NO pulling! Here is a link to the one I am referring to, I bought it at Petsmart. Sporn Non-Pulling Mesh Control Harness - Dog - Sale - PetSmart

Coal, the neighbors 2 yr. old male Black Lab (Abby's boyfriend) is always going between your legs...guess it is a Lab thing but our Abby doesn't do it.
