    DefaultPoisonous fruit trees to dogs

Here is a link about poisonous fruit trees for dogs. I was shocked to read about apple trees. We have one in the back yard and Sophie strips the apples off as high as she can reach. My husband has trimmed branches on our mulberry tree and I was thankful to see it is ok, since Sophie has been dragging whole branches around and chomping on them. He didn't trim the apple tree, thank goodness!

I knew not to give the seeds from apples but what is the issue with mulberries? We have one and all enjoyed the fruit immensely. I called the vet before letting Maxx and Emma have them because I wasn't't sure and was told the fruit was fine. If there is an issue they will have one hot doggy mama in the office later today. They didn't eat a large amount but they had them...

Mulberries are ok and not on a poison list.

Thank you for posting this. There are a few apple trees nearby, with autumn almost here and Roffes love for chasing leaves I need to be careful.
