Teaching a dog is both teamwork and art. If you've ever been good at either, you know that it is all about practice and mindset. Any attempt to bypass TIME via shortcuts will either have unwanted side effects, or produce a dog with a less significant understanding of the task(s) at hand. So proceed maturely, intelligently, and thoughtfully.

You are NOT training a dog, you are nurturing one of the most special relationships that you will ever have. Having a dog who possesses a deep understanding of what we expect of them and performs the things we ask of them is just a side effect of spending a lot of time with them. Prioritize your relationship and the "training" happens naturally.
