I was given my puppy Nick almost 2 weeks ago and I was told it was a Lab. However, today I took him to the dog park and people were asking what type of breed it was and when I responded "a lab" they seemed rather surprised. Even some of the lab owners were like "really?"....So after a while my wife and I started doubting and we thought that maybe it could be another breed similar to a lab... He does have webbed feet but I also read that many other breeds have webbed feet as well. Here's a few pictures so that you guys can give me your opinions...
He looks kinda Pit Bull-ish in the 1st pic. It's hard to tell from photos. Even if he's not 100% pure Lab, he's still a cute pup.
I dont personally see any pit bull in him. Do you have any side pics of him, standing? How old is he and how much does he weigh?
~It doesn't matter how smart the dog is,it matters how smart the owner is.
His ears look a bit small in the first picture, but other than that he sure looks like a lab to me. Height and weight would help. He's a cutie!
Here are Pics from Nick sideways...would you say he looks pure or is he a mix? I'm just curious cause were gonna love him and take care of him either way. By the way he should be close to 20 pounds and hes about 14 inches tall on his back and around 17ish from the head to the ground. The ears and face structure make me doubt he's a pure lab. again opinions welcomed, don't be shy! lol
He looks like a mostly lab mix to me, IMHO. He is really cute, regardless of what he is!

Sometimes the hardest part isn't letting go - but learning to start over.
He's adorable! Looking at his ears, they are set high, which is not normally a lab trait. He does look very much like a lab otherwise. Whatever, he is a really handsome boy!
