    DefaultA little brag...

My Gryphon, who is 9.5 years old sired his final litter yesterday via frozen semen.
TWELVE little Gryph-ettes were born in Denmark. It has set a record in the country and the litter will be making the Danish New tonight!!!!!!!!!!!
This litter has been many years in the making. I first made friends with Hans and Birgit of Lab-X-Streams when Gryphon was young and showing. They flew to Michigan in 2007 for a week to visit us and meet Gryphon. We had a wonderful time. A few months later I sold them the last bit of frozen I had. Enough to do two breedings.
Sadly the first one did not take. It has been 5 years since that last attempt!! The used a female outside their kennel, a nice woman named Germaine from Kennel Charmaine's.
I would say 12 pups more than makes up for his missed breeding. I am so excited for their futures!! Over in Denmark nearly all the dogs "work" so most all of them will have fabulous lives of hunting, trailing, etc.

What also makes it news worthy there is that the semen was nearly 8 yrs old because he was young when I had it collected.

Oh and there are 6 males and 6 females!

Holy moly! Does the breeder have another lactating bitch there to help out with nursing that crew? That mama is going to be exhausted!
