    DefaultGood boy Flint!!!

I took Flint to the first of four days of a horsie Eventing deal locally (olympic champions will be there...google Richland Horsepark). Anyway none of my dog's have ever seen a horse (despite a once Olympic aspiration on my part....before I had to work/support myself/......sigh).

Anyway, the first horse Flint saw he did a triple take and looked like "WHOA....what a big effing dog!!!!" but, after that he was his calm self. Bumped me a bit on heeling, but considering the horse apples at his feet, the people, cars, golf carts, mini-bikes, etc....he was a champion! We were watching the Dressage portion today, and he was bored so was rolling on his back and rolled right into a photographer's bag. Reached his paw up to her and said "Hi, my name is Flint.......I am cute......"

Tomorrow I take Journey. She is much more reactive, so it will be interesting. Sat. Is the cross country and Sunday the Stadium jumping, and I hope to take a different dog each day.

Our dog is almost too comfortable with horses. My wife does 3 day eventing and I'll take Cash to watch at times. Cash will lay right in the middle of the barn isle while horses are led in and out. I'm constantly moving him out of the way for fear he's going to get stepped on.

HAHAHAHA! Rukus did the exact same thing the first time he saw a horse! He looked at it and had such a confused look on his face like, "WTF is that?!" and then he started barking at it (from a distance), would turn to look at me, bark at it, look at me. I could almost hear him saying "Mom! Check this dog out...it's huge!!!"
