In Barney's obed class, they have us do an exercise where we put them in a sit stay, walk across the area, and call them to us. There is a lady with a Goldendoodle. When she calls him, not only does he come to her, but before he starts puts his leash in his mouth as if carrying some bag or something. I guess you have to see it, but it is one of the funniest things ever. It's like he is afraid he will leave his leash behind! lol
Or he likes to walk himself.
I had a Corgi who would bolt everytime if he didn't have a leash on. But put the leash on and hand it to him and he would heel as nice as could be even though he had total control of the leash. His other favorite thing was to take the leash our doxie/cocker mix was on and walk Pepper.

Lola, our mellow yellow gal. Gotcha on 1-7-07
That is so cute. He just doesn't want it dragging it behind him; what if someone steps on it or something? Very funny that he does it the same way everytime.

Some people are like slinkies. Not really good for much, but bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs.
Awwwww how cute!

LOL, Sadie does that too!!
Mt friend's Golden, who recently crossed, used to do that. He would walk himself holding his leash. Very cute. It must be the golden in the doodle doing that.
