The dudley thread got me wonder. Has anyone else dogs nose got lighter as they get older? When Cinnamon's was a puppy her was black now granted light black but still black. They are her coat got a deeper red her nose seemed to fade to the charcoal color. Now as she is 5 it seems even a lighter shade of charcoal.
Just wondering if this is normal.
Karon and Cinnamon
Henry's has been the same, Karon. His nose was jet-black when he was a baby, and now, not as much. It's pretty consistent in colour throughout the year (vs. snow nose).
Yes, they all got lighter. Judy had a black nose as a puppy, now liver colored.
Champ's nose is already getting lighter. This summer it didn't go all black, and he's four years old.

Emma's nose has never been black, but dark brown. After the age of 2 or so she started getting snow nose at the winter. Nowadays it's not getting as dark in the summer as when she was younger, but it's still a little change.
Oh and she got freckles on the nose, like Megan's Huckle .

Sadie's nose was black for the first year or two. She now has a pinkish/brown nose.

Abbey's is lighter, already, too. It was jet black, but this summer it didn't return to that color, just a bit lighter
I was tempted to say that I haven't weighed them recently !
Ooops - I just did !
