I took a picture of her with my cell phone. The vet said I could always delete it. I haven't. I can't bear to look at it and I am not able to delete it.
What would you do?
It doesn't matter what we would do. You'll know what to do with it when it's time to do something with it.
I'm sorry for your loss.

So sorry for your loss. RIP Fanny..
If dogs do not go to heaven, then I prefer to follow them where they go.
I think Fanny would rather have you to look at pictures of her that make you smile and remember the good times.
God Speed Fanny, Hugs and Like Labby said, when the time is right you will know.
Pictures mean nothing ! I still have the memory of Samson passing as he received the coup de grace indelibly printed in my brain.
i try not to think about it - much the same as you must with that picture.
I am sorry for your loss. I know exactly how you feel. I still have a picture of Molly the night before we had to PTS. She looks so sad. I can't look at it but I can't delete it either. It's hard. (((Hugs)))
I am so sorry for your loss. I know how you feel. My husband took a picture of Maggiemay wrapped in her blanket right before they buried her. I didn't want to see it, but accidentally did when I was on my husband's computer. It wasn't as bad as I thought, she looked like she was sleeping. My heart knew she wasn't sleeping though, and I haven't looked at it since, but can still see it in my mind's eye. The picture comforts my husband. Perhaps you are like him and will be comforted by your picture one day. I am sending warm thoughts to you....
