    DefaultMy New Convertible?

Jim has made some posts about my "new red convertible". I know that you folks all know better than that. It's actually a go-cart for our grandson Jay (daughter Erin's boy) who spends a couple months each summer with us. Seems like he has had a different set of wheels each year.

This was in 2006 at 5 years old during his first annual visit to "Grandpa's Texas Ranch".

2007, age 6, Kawasaki Mule for fishing, dawg training and just riding around ...

2008, age 7, first time riding in the new Jeep with Grampa, Cappy and Remi ...

2009, age 8 driving the old Husqvarna 48" riding mower ...

Carrying on in their big brother's memory ...

2010, age 9 driving a 30+ year old "Shriners" motor scooter all around the property ...

2011, age 10 driving Grammy around in our golf cart ...

This year he'll be tooling around 56 acres of lawn and pastures in the new Go Cart

If it appears that he's been a little over-indulged, consider this ... I wish to God that Cappy was still with us so we could spoil him some more before we're both gone.

Jealousy was setting in and I was thinking about asking to be adopted. Then I realized that at 67, Jim and Carol would probably be buying me a wheel chair.

    Jay is one lucky Grandson.

Carol over the years I have enjoyed seeing pics of you Jim and Jay. I do not think he is over indulged. He is loved. I think he is one lucky boy ( and sure you and Jim too) to share each others company and build life time memories.

Carol, I bet you are counting the days 'til he arrives. The go cart looks like a blast! Better out and about in the fields than sitting in front of a video game. Wonderful! Looking forward to more pictures this summer. Great series of shots.
