    DefaultIndustructable toys.

After 10 weeks of Oona going to the bridge, I have adopted a Lab. She is an 18 month old field Lab who I renamed Velvet. She has destroyed every one of Oonas' old toys in seconds. I swear this dog has razor wire in her mouth. The only thing she hasn't been able to rip up is a black Kong. Any recommendations?

Orbee toys, and anything else from here that has a 5-chompers rating:

Congratulations. Dozer is a destrcto-dog too. Heavy duty nylabone, kong and the cuz line of toys seem to be his best fit.

www.westpawdesign.com - look for the toys made of zogoflex, they are guaranteed. I also second the orbee.

I just do black kongs, elk antlers, the harder nylabones and the knuckle bones by Merrick. Everything else is a waste of money around here!

    Tuffy's Ultimate Bone

Here is a fabric (wait, just hear me out...) bone that has lasted ALOT longer than anything prior with our two. I just happened to find it in a store, it is like quadruple stitched, extra military duty fabric, etc etc...and we've had it for months. She finally found a seam and its starting to unravel, but it still maintains its shape and strength...I am thorougly amazed. We did buy one of their tug-o-wars that had a higher "tough" rating, but it didn't last as long as this thing. Highly recommend...

I can confirm that the black Kong, Orbee toys (that are 5 out of 5 on their chomper scale), souper Nylabones and the Kong knobby toy will stand up to serious chewers. Both Abbey and Coco can tear toys and things to shreds in minutes so their toy selection is limited. We did get one of those small basketballs that you can inflate to be really hard and they chase it all over but can't get a good grip on it with their teeth to deflate it. We went through a regular basketball and 2 soccer balls before hubby figured out how to beat them at the "destroy the toy" game. Good luck with your new fella. Post pictures - lots of pics - we love pictures....
