    DefaultLooking for a treat toy

I'm looking for a toy ,that will dispense treats but will require work to get the treat and I need one that can stand up to some chewing.

We have one from planet dog/orbee. It is soft and hollow and you put treats in it and the dog has to roll it around to get them out. I have one for my guys and my brother has one for his lab. Both of them have held up for about 3 years now. Their toys have different ratings. This is rated a 5 out of 5 chompers.

My 2 have these ones. The cube is the better one because it can't roll so it drives Bear crazy. It's made in Denmark. I forget the brand name.

I have 3 different types of regular kongs and the dogs love them. I was thinking about the jug but I've heard mixed reviews some say its easy to break and some say the treats come out to easy.

depends on the dog. I do keep an eye on them when they use teh jug - if they bite it i correct (vocal "no") and i do have to make sure to take it away when they are done (taht is when most will start chewing it) but I quite like it. It worked for a few fosters. I haven't found the treats come out too fast. Some dogs take awhile to eat with that one even

I ordered the large buster cube and the Kong wobbler off Amazon. I'm excited to get these and try them out during the weekend with all that I have going on and all the people that will be here. What types of treats work best in these?

I just got a Kong (Puppy - Large size) for my 13 week lab pup. I bought the Puppy Ziggies that they make also. It gives you a good half hour of piece and quiet. I have also begun putting his food in it and capping the end with some peanut butter. I freeze them for a while too so he doesn't get all the peanut butter off in a few licks. He really likes it and it keeps him occupied for a while.
