    DefaultTank has crate rest...again!

We were outside playing in the hose again this morning. He was running on the porch and fell. he got up fine so I didn't make him go on a leash. He went down to the ditch and came back not putting weight on his leg. So I leash him and call my mom, she doesn't answer. Call the work phone, no answer. So she must be the only one their right now and couldn't get to the phone. So I call my dad he was to busy to answer. So I call my cousin he comes over and said it looks like a sprain. So I call my aunts Girlfriend. She used to work as a vet Tech. so she comes over and says it is a sprain since it doesn't look/ feel broke. After she leaves i say thank you and call my cousins Emergency vet. he also says it sounds like a sprain. I asked if I should just crate him and only take him out on a leash and he said yes. So Tank is now in the crate. he isn't too happy. I got him out to take him potty and he was still limping. He puts a little bit of pressure on it and then lifts it back up.

I think he is in his crate for rest at-least 2 times a month! People say he is the dog for me,lol. he is as clumsy as me, and hurts himself as much as me. now to call my mom on her brake and tell her. Wonder what she is going to say.

I hope it is just a sprain/strain. Good thoughts for Tank.

I had a 4-H meeting tonight and when I got back my dad had let Tank out of his crate(I was only gone 1 hour). I guess my dad forgot to leave him in his crate, Idk. He was limping still and when I walked through the door he charged me and seemed to forget about it then remebered it and whined a little and then I told him to sit and stay and thankfully I keep the leashes right by the door and put a leash on him and made him heel and put him in his crate(he goes into a crazy spree when I walk in the door and I new he was about to before I leashed him). So he is sitting in his crate eyeballing me. There is a good storm going through tonight so I might sleep downstairs by his crate. If not I am going to force Bentley to sleep on the bed, lol. It is weird without a dog laying down at my feet.

Hopefully it is just a sprain. Maybe put a note on his crate to remind others? I hope he feels better soon!

I did put a note on it when I left this morning He seems better today. he has a limp to him anyway so I cant tell if it is because his hips are hurting(it got really cold last night) or if it is from his leg but to be on the safe side it is still leash only while outside and he is out more in the house.
