Scared me today. I come home and he doesn't greet me at the door. I call him, no answer. I call louder, nothing. I start to panic. Did I leave him outside? Did someone take him? Did he get locked in a room. So I'm now frantically running all over, inside and out, yelling. I finally run up into my bedroom. There he is sound asleep on my bed. Seriously? Spoiled dog!
How scary at first! Glad he was just in a power nap!

Isn't that the scariest thing? Glad he was taking a nap. Bet your heart was racing.
Bauer likes to go in my closet when we aren't home. My son came home once and wasn't greeted at the door. He looked everywhere quickly, and called me in a panic. I told him to look in the closet, and he was in there sound asleep.
Im glad Murphy enjoyed his nap.

Some people are like slinkies. Not really good for much, but bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs.
My guys don't sleep that soundly when left alone. I would be in an absolute panic if I did not come home to 2 wiggly butts waiting at the door!

Sometimes the hardest part isn't letting go - but learning to start over.
My guys don't sleep that soundly when we are expected home - neither did Shadow. But there were a couple of times when I came home at lunch and no Shadow to greet me at the door, toy in mouth. Called and called, finally she came, stretching and yawning, looking at me as if to ask: "What are YOU doing home now? It's the middle of my siesta time!"

That would be scary.
A couple of times Erns hasn't been there to meet me and I have gone through the same routine. Gets the heart going for sure.
Sorry he scared you, but LOL.
Nothing like not knowing where you lab is to get your heart pumping, and very quickly.
Isn't it great to have a sister
Fanny would get up on my bed around 1-1.30pm, MIL wouldn't see her and close the door. Fanny would sleep until I got home around 5 and would bark to let me know where she was - still up on the bed.................
